MS May Newsletter

Arcadia Middle School Parents and Guardians,

We are just finishing up our Wisconsin Forward Testing. We hope to have all make-up tests completed this first week of May.

All middle school remote students will need to complete our Wisconsin Forward Testing as well. Remote students will be receiving their testing dates very soon.  We will need the remote students to come to the middle school to take the required tests.

Teachers are busy planning for any end of the year activities. Fifth grade will be traveling out to Mrs. Rumpel’s farm for a fun day on the farm.  Sixth grade students will be taking a trip to Perrot Park.   Other grade levels are still planning activities. Due to COVID many field trips and end of the year activities will need to be altered to fit safety protocols.

Middle School Summer School will be held this summer at the high school.  Session 1 will be held June 14 - July 2 and Session 2 will be held July 12 - 30.   Students will receive summer school information letters in the US mail.  Any student that failed Reading and/or Math Trimester 2 will need to attend Session 1 and students that failed Reading and/or Math Trimester 3 will need to attend Session 2. Please call the school office if you have any questions pertaining to summer school. Ms. Olga Dedkova-Hasan will be the middle school summer school principal.

Thank you to our middle school families for the amazing support over this school year. It has not been an easy one but with the wonderful parental support and staff efforts, we have made it to May. Hoping for a less stressful upcoming fall. I hope all our AMS students and families have a safe, restful summer!

Reminder - Last day of school for students is Friday, May 28.

We will have summer hours in the MS office but call with any questions. We are looking forward to an eventful 2021-2022 school year.
