Arcadia Education Foundation
The Arcadia Education Foundation is an independent board, affiliate of the School District of Arcadia, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization that was established in 1988. The State Bank of Arcadia generously donated $1,000 to start the foundation and it continues to be built entirely by community and business supporters of education in Arcadia. The sole purpose of the Arcadia Education Foundation is to fund the School District of Arcadia projects and programs that would not otherwise be possible with the state budget.

In 1988, the founding four board members, Henry (Hank) Schultz, Ken Sonsolla, Glen Bawek, and Kevin Manley had a dream of being able to support the School District of Arcadia without impacting their state aid. These four members along with the community grew the foundation one event and donation at a time. Over the past 35 years, the foundation has raised over $3.2 million dollars. Today the foundation has over $983,000 in their account and they continue to provide over 30 scholarships each year. Majority of the scholarships are paid for by interest earned on the account.

If you are interested in donating to the Arcadia Education Foundation please contact Kevin Manely at 608-323-7501. Donations can be made to the foundation anonymously in honor or in memory of an individual or event. High School students can find available scholarships through their Xello account.
